P.A.D.'s 62nd Biennial Convention & Leadership Conference was historic for Phi Alpha Delta.
Hosted in the city of Lexington, Kentucky for the first time, 310 P.A.D. brothers, sisters, guests, and
speakers travelled from California, Texas, Minnesota, Alaska, and more to be part of our second largest
Convention in P.A.D. history.
The second biennial "Take The Pledge" Program, chaired by Brother John Weitkamp (Ford Chapter
'78), was continued to encourage attendance.
To foster attendance, 65 scholarships and grants were funded by P.A.D. brothers and sisters (21
of which were matched by P.A.D. partner, Nationwide) to invest in our Fraternity's future; our young
alumni, members of the U.S. armed forces, and promising P.A.D. law student leaders.
Over the course of four days, P.A.D.s participated in morning workout sessions hosted by the
P.A.D. Health Initiative, workshops, leadership training, general sessions, after parties, elections,
and awards recognition.
Thank you to all who participated, we look forward to seeing you in 2020 for the 63rd Biennial
Convention. Location- TBD!
