Weber School District's chief concern is the safety of its 31,000 students and over
3,500 staff and faculty members. Over the years, each school purchased a mix of their own
cameras and DVRs, but they wanted a unified system that could be used countywide.
It eventually switched all schools over to a central video management software and
supplied Axis video encoders to bring its analog system onto the network. The district
also decided that when analog products fail, they'd turn to Axis IP cameras.
