Grace Magazine | www.fbcglenarden.org 13 God is a Communicator. You need to find a quiet place to meet with Him. First Lady Trina set the environment for us with Scripture, music, low lights and anointed singers. You can do the same thing, but in your own way using Christian music, a Scripture, or even a personal song. It's Okay to Cry. God knows everything about you, so you do not have to put on an act. If you want to cry, then cry. When you finish, begin to worship and thank Him for all that He is and has done for you. Find a Scripture and read it to Him in the secret place. Seek His Wisdom. God is our spiritual father who is always willing to provide answers to our questions and concerns. There's nothing too hard for God. He may not answer you right away. He will answer you if you remain faithful and not doubt His ability to guide you in the right direction. He may not give you the 10 Commandments like He did with Moses, but He will speak to you through His Word. Silence is Golden. This may be a tough one for some of us because of the way we are taught to approach God. As you get to know Him better, you will be able to sense His presence, just like we do at church. The Secret Place is a Meeting Place. You do not have to hold a title like a pastor to enter the secret place, however, you must be born again. "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Most importantly, remember that God loves and adores you. He knows you by your name! Prayer: Father, I pray that you will pour out your presence in a mighty way on your people when they enter the secret place. Help them not to grow weary in well-doing, for at the proper time they will reap a harvest if they do not give up. We bind every demonic distraction of the enemy, and loose peace into our bodies, souls, minds, and every situation in Jesus' name! G Sherlita Queen Contributing Writer He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1
