Grace Magazine | www.fbcglenarden.org 19 Taunya Sills Contributing Writer Below are a few Scriptures that will help you to be BRAVE, Strong and Courageous: "Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!" (Psalm 27:14) " Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love" (1 Corinthians 16:13-14). "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6). "Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them." (Joshua 1:6). "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7). "I can do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13). "Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle." (Psalm 144:1). "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." (Exodus 14:14) "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" (Psalm 46:10) "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" (Hebrews 13:6) "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10). "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9). "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). "And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" (2 Corinthians 12:9). BRAVE means feeling afraid and doing it anyway. BRAVE means saying NO when those around you want you to say yes. BRAVE means taking a leap of faith even when you're not sure how things will turn out. BRAVE means getting up and walking out into the sunshine even when the circumstances of your life make you want to stay in the dark. BRAVE is shouting out loud and brave is also staying quiet. BRAVE is when you stay true to your heart. Your BRAVE is different from my BRAVE. When you find the place inside you where your truest desires meet your deepest fear, that's where you'll find your BRAVE. G Be Brave ● Be Bold ● Be Strong
