Ladies go through healing in BFA I. After successfully conquering their initial fear of healing, most participants choose to remain with this ministry and complete a nine-month discipleship program, which includes education (BFA II) and empowerment (BFA III) Bible studies. DIVINE DISCIPLESHIP FOR SISTERS Women who desire a deeper relationship with God turn to DDS. This intense nine-month discipleship course assists women on their spiritual journey while providing them with the necessary tools to pour into the lives of other women. FOCUS STUDIES Busy women yearning for discipleship will be inspired and challenged in one of the many four to seven-week studies designed to enhance your walk with the Lord. GRACE MAGAZINE Developed by women for women, this biannual magazine features articles designed to empower women spiritually, physically and financially. This ministry's goal is to keep the women of First Baptist informed and connected. HAGAR MINISTRY (Teen Pregnancy) Expecting teens and/or teen parents are embraced and taught to grow into a genuine faith in Christ. This support group teaches teens how to be godly parents. HOMEMAKERS MINISTRY As executives of their home, stay-at-home moms connect the heart and home. This group comes together and provides encouragement and support to one another in strengthening and upholding family life. QUEEN ESTHER Queen Esther instructors teach women ages 18-35 basic Christian principles and how to apply them to real-life situations. SISTERS FOR YOUR JOURNEY Women desiring to grow deeper and more intimate in their relationship with Christ learn to love themselves, other women and build nurturing relationships in Sisters for Your Journey. The ministry provides a safe place for women to talk, listen and pray together and ultimately develop friends (sisters) for their journey. SISTERS IN DISCIPLESHIP Committed, faithful women participate in an in-depth study of God's Word that teaches them how to duplicate godly principles into the lives of other women. (Note: Participation in this ministry is by invitation only.) TAMAR MINISTRY If you've been sexually abused, Tamar provides spiritual healing through a peaceful environment. Women learn to trust one another and to be open about their past experiences. WIVES' SUPPORT MINISTRY Wives' Support honors the institution of marriage by supporting wives who seek to understand and live out the role of a wife as defined by the Word of God (1 Peter 3). WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP Every month women gather to fellowship. This builds and strengthens relationships among the women of First Baptist as they learn God's Word together. WOMEN IN NEED W.I.N. assists women in crisis by providing access to resource information. It serves First Baptist members as well as women in the local community.
